Ogbono Soup Recipe

- 1 cup of ground Ogbono seeds
- 1/4 cup of roasted crayfish (ground)
- Assorted meats (goat, beef, or chicken)
- 1/2 cup of palm oil
- 2 cups of vegetable stock or water
- 2 handfuls of spinach or bitter leaves (optional)
- 1 tablespoon of ground chili pepper
- Salt to taste
- Seasoning cubes (optional)

1. Heat the palm oil in a pot until melted. Add the ground Ogbono seeds and stir until fully dissolved.
Gradually add the stock while stirring to prevent lumps.
Add the assorted meats, crayfish, chili pepper, and seasoning cubes. Let it simmer for 15–20 minutes.
Stir in the spinach or bitter leaves if desired and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Serve with pounded yam, fufu, or rice.
